2020 Cruise FAQs - Placing Reservations
1. What is the bed configuration in each cabin?
All double occupancy cabins (except suites) have two single beds that can be converted to a queen. All triple or quad occupancy cabins have two singles/queen and one upper bunk bed, and a sofa bed, or trundle bed.
Suites have either a queen or king bed.
2. How do I purchase cruise or travel insurance?
It is recommended that you purchase Travel Insurance online or by phone when making your initial deposit to ensure full coverage of the policy. But you can add it to your reservation anytime prior to your final payment date.
You may also call us to request additional coverage for other non-cruise travel, such as airfare and deposits on ground or hotel.
The cost for travel insurance is 8% of the amount you want to be insured.
3. What are the age requirements for Joanie Madden Cruise?
Guests are required to be at least 21 years of age at by cruise embarkation day to travel in their own cabin. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by an individual 21 years or older. The exceptions to this policy are:
- Guests under the age of 21 traveling with a parent or guardian in an accompanying stateroom.
- Married minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple is married. The couple must have proof of marriage at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.
- Domestic Partners/Same-Sex Union minor couple - The booking must be documented that the couple are legal Domestic Partners/Same-Sex Union. The couple must have legal proof of partnership/union at embarkation or they will be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.
Guest ages will be verified at embarkation. Guests not conforming to this policy will be denied boarding and assessed a 100% cancellation penalty. NO exceptions will be made at embarkation.
4. How does travel insurance work?
We highly recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance. The cost is 8% of your total price but the peace of mind is invaluable. You may also call us to extend travel insurance to your airline tickets or other travel accommodations you have made.

Optional travel insurance available through WMPH Vacations may be purchased up to, but no later than, the Final Payment Due Date on your invoice, but some benefits may not apply.
As soon as you book air travel, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, or any other service as part of your planned trip, you are required to contact WMPH Vacations to update your insurance policy. We must change the coverage dates and increase the value of your coverage to maintain all benefits. Additional premium will apply. If you fail to contact us within 14 days, and later file a claim, the insurance company will deny that claim, and pre-existing medical conditions coverage will be forfeited.

The insurance premium is based on 8.25% of the total cost of the trip including all covered components such as air transportation purchased separately. This plan is available to persons whose primary residence is in the United States.

Insurance benefits are underwritten by BCS Insurance Company on Form No. 52.201 or 52.401. or Jefferson Insurance Form No. 101-C-XX-01 or 101-P-XX-01, depending on the insured's state. World Access Service Corp., a company of Mondial Assistance, is the licensed producer and administrator for this plan and an affiliate of Jefferson Insurance Company.
In all states except NY, TX and WA, the insurance premium is based on 8.25%
of the total cost of the trip including all covered components such as air
transportation purchased separately. This plan is available to persons whose
primary residence is in the United States.

total cost of the trip as defined above.
ATTENTION CLIENTS RESIDING IN TX: Your premium is based on 7.75% of the
total cost of the trip as defined above.
ATTENTION: CANADIANS RESIDING IN QUEBEC are not eligible for Allianz.
Additional restrictions apply to residents of Canada.
California Residents: TThis plan contains disability insurance benefits or health insurance benefits, or both, that only apply during the covered trip. You may have coverage from other sources that already provides you with these benefits. You should review your existing policies. If you have any questions about your current coverage, call your insurer or health plan. We are doing business in California as WASC Insurance Agency. CA License # is 0B01400.
Florida Residents: The benefits of the Policy providing your coverage are governed primarily by the law of a state other than Florida.
Washington State Residents:WMPH Vacations standard Travel Insurance policy initially offered does not apply to your reservation. Please contact WMPH Vacations to receive a revised quote for a Travel Insurance policy applicable to your state of residence.
Plan may not be available in all jurisdictions.

5. What is the payment schedule?
Once you make your initial deposit your credit card used for your deposit will be automatically billed for all future payments leading up to your final payment date (schedule below). The date that you place your reservation will dictate your minimum deposit amount, after which you would be required to make any future payments according to the schedule.
Installment payments for guests booked “solo” in a double occupant cabin will be billed $500.00 per payment
Installment payments for guests booked in T1 Single Studio cabins will be $250 USD on the schedule listed below.
- $500.00 per cabin, week of 1 August 2019 (Haven Suites $900.00 per cabin)
- $500.00 per cabin, week of 1 October 2019 (Haven Suites $900.00 per cabin)
- $500.00 per cabin, week of 1 February 2020 (Haven Suites $900.00 per cabin) * Travel Insurance Purchased at this time
- $500.00 per cabin, week of 1 June 2020 (Haven Suites skip this installment payment)
- Remaining balance of reservation will be processed week of 17 July 2020 (Final Payment date for Haven Suites is 13 June 2020)
Additional payments can be made anytime up until final payment.
6. How do I make a reservation?
Placing a reservation is easy! You can book a cabin online by clicking Book Now or by calling 1-855-Irish-Cruise (1-855-474-7427) or 800-427-8473 ext 7853.
7. What information will I need to book my cabin?
Cabin Selection: During booking just select your desired cabin category and occupancy and we'll select the best location from our list of available cabins for you. If you have a cabin location request please make that request in the "Comment" box on the payment information page at the end of the booking process.
Naming Guests: You can add your guests later but fees may apply. See "Can I make changes to my reservation?" here for more details.
You are obligated for the full cruise fare of the occupancy level you select during the reservation process even if you do not add guests to fill your entire cabin. If you wish to add guests beyond the capacity of the occupancy level you select during the reservation process you may do so based on availability for the additional cruise fare associated with the transaction.
